Friends of Drama (“FOD”)is the parent support group for the NNHS Theater Program.  Our primary responsibility is to assist the directors, faculty/staff, and students’ with various duties in support of the Theater Program at Naperville North High School.

While FOD gives us, as parents, the opportunity to support our technicians and thespians, we also have the opportunity to meet other parents whose children have similar interests. 

FOD has a board consisting of:

FOD Volunteer positions available:

• We determine the following at the FOD Meeting preceding each play:
  • Concessions sales
  • Flowers sales
  • Ticket agents

• Cast party for the musical
• Cast Photos
• Concession - purchase
• Flowers - purchase
• Freshman Jamboree
• Fundraising
• Parent Ads
• Photographer
• Playbills for children’s play & One Acts

• Theatre Club Liaison
• All parents are asked to help in some aspect with the end-of-year theater banquet held for sponsors, students and their families.

 FOD meets three weeks before the opening of each play to work together as a group. This helps with fluid consistency throughout the year. Our meeting location, as well as the end-of-year banquet, is held in the schools small cafeteria by the auditorium. We have attached a copy of the Play/Meeting schedule for your convenience.  We truly hope to see you at our meetings, we’re a fun group and it’s a very rewarding experience.
